Middle TN is still growing, BUT it is growing alot less lately.

First, yes the population of Middle TN is still growing.

But the rate of growth is slowing down. That means net population growth is less than during the last 20 years of historical population growth.

What that means for the housing market is that the demand is less than we have grown used to. There is still demand, but not the high amount of demand Middle Tn had in the past. So due to less demand the homes for sale are staying on the market longer and we end up with more homes available.

With more homes comes more choice and more options for buyers.

That is why as the stats below show, we have more inventory now then any time in the last 6 years during April.
